He is made of Zachary Clark's cell, the schizophrenic son of Doctor Richard, who burnt down his house after killing his mother, and consequently killing himself. Doctor Richard only managed to extract a limited amount of DNA from Zachary and combines them with Adam's. Adam will always have to live with Zachary in his mind. The Doctor continues as if it's as normal as rain with his twisted science games.
